Swiss Firm H7b1 Unveils Program for the First European LitTech Conference

Educational event includes two days of presentations by industry experts, practical hands-on labs, tutorials on litigation support technology and discussions on how international and local counsels can use appropriate strategic technologies to face US/UK litigation in European legal contexts.

GENEVA, Switzerland, (21 September 2005) – H7b1, the Swiss firm pioneering litigation support mobile services in Europe, today unveils the program of The First European LitTech Conference, an educational event being held on the 17th and 18th of November 2005 at Le Palace Hilton Hotel in Geneva, Switzerland.

This first year’s conference will be a four-fold event, with an introductory track on litigation support techniques in European legal contexts, a practical track where participants will be able to discover their own documents in a litigation support environment and acquire hands-on experience, a strategic track on using appropriate legal technologies to efficiently face US/UK litigation in European legal context. The last track will be a technology assessment track and will allow participants and speakers - legal and technology professionals - to discuss the potential impact of European litigation support in a global environment.

The European LitTech Conference – an unparalleled initiative born in Switzerland, a civil-law country – will be of most interest to corporate legal managers, international and local counsels, litigation support managers, paralegals, risk managers, knowledge managers and other decision-makers from European countries and the United States of America.

„We felt it necessary to offer the global legal community a platform for discussion on how litigation support technology can now also provide support in non-discovery or data privacy contexts,“ said Rafik Emmanuel Abboud, Managing Partner of H7b1.

The Conference program, details, information on the sponsors, registration application form and hotel information for the 2005 European LitTech Conference are available online at: www.h7b1.com/euroLitTech

The Conference will take place at Le Palace Hilton Geneva, a hotel that benefits from an ideal situation on the shores of Lake Geneva, and located on the Quai du Mont-Blanc right opposite the famous Jet d'eau.
