Swiss Firm H7b1 Launches Technology-Assisted Database Audit Services
An innovative Technology-Assisted Audit approach provides legal clients with expert audit opinions on database completeness
GENEVA, Switzerland (10 April 2012) – Swiss Group H7b1 (www.h7b1.com), the forerunner of the litigation technology practice on continental Europe, is pleased to announce the launching of a new innovative line of services focusing on independent technology audits of legal databases.
The new H7b1 service consists of carrying-out a technology-assisted audit of a given litigation or investigation database, and providing an independent expert opinion as to whether all the collected data has been processed into the given database.
Leadership through Technology
Over the years, the H7b1 project team – based in the heart of the Geneva watch making district – has developed an innovative audit technology and a scientific approach for quality assurance purposes.
The technology solution has then been re-engineered by the Lemanic Institute of Technology – the technology unit of H7b1 - and now allows our legal technology experts to cost-effectively assess and report on database completeness.
Controlling Technology-Induced Risks
“By mandating H7b1 to carry out third-party technology-assisted database audits, corporations and their counsel can significantly increase control over their legal data projects,” explains H7b1’s founder Rafik Abboud. “With this new line of audit services, we are proud to further bridge litigation & forensic technology with the world of data protection management,” he added.
